Girl on the Hill

High atop Mount Vaca on the border of California’s Napa and Solano Counties, Denise Revel (aka Girl on the Hill) grows Malbec grapes and lavender at just under 3,000′, making it the highest elevation in Solano County.

The Brass Tap

The Brass Tap Vacaville offers over 300 craft beers from around the globe in a neighborhood atmosphere that feels both relaxed and upscale.

Centennial Dog Park

This spacious off-leash dog park offers separate areas for large dogs and small dogs, so even pint-sized pups can play the day away! As Vacaville’s newest dog park, Centennial is a community effort in progress.

Alamo Creek Bike Path

The Alamo Creek Bikeway is a shaded path along Alamo Creek in Vacaville. The trail connects residents with several parks, including Nelson Park, Patwin Park and Beelard Park.

Soul Food Farm

Soul Food Farm is quietly tucked into the rolling hillsides of Northern California. Since 1988, the Koefoed family has continued the legacy of this historic farm, and today it is bountiful with both wild and artisan flowers, lavender fields, and an estate olive orchard where, every year, the local community gathers to help with the harvest.
